Field note 03 / Campagne

What made to order actually means

The order comes first. Production follows.

5 minute read

01

Production begins after purchase

Made to order describes a sequence, not a marketing mood. Campagne does not pull a finished printed garment from a shelf. Once an order is confirmed, the selected blank is assigned to production, printed, checked, packed, and then handed to the carrier.

That sequence adds production time before transit. It also means availability must be confirmed against the current blank-garment inventory rather than assumed from an old warehouse count.

02

The estimate has two parts

A delivery estimate combines fulfillment time and carrier time. For the current U.S. standard service, production is generally estimated at two to five business days and transit at three to four business days. The live estimate shown at checkout controls for the specific order.

Carrier delays, weather, address corrections, and temporary blank availability can change that estimate. Made to order is most useful when those stages are stated plainly rather than compressed into a single optimistic date.

03

Choose size before production starts

Because a garment is produced for the order, a change of mind or an incorrectly selected size cannot be handled like a return to a stocked retail floor. Measurements should be reviewed before payment. Campagne hoodies run small: choose one size up for a closer standard fit or two sizes up for a roomier relaxed fit.

If an address, size, or order detail is wrong, contact support immediately. Once fulfillment marks the order In Process, it cannot be edited, changed, or canceled.

04

Defects remain our responsibility

Made to order does not excuse a damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect item. Those issues should be reported within 30 days of delivery with the order reference and clear photographs.

Once the issue is confirmed, Campagne provides a replacement or refund at no cost to the customer. The production model changes the return process; it does not remove accountability for the product delivered.
